Terms and Conditions

Please take a moment to read the terms and conditions of booking, and of staying at Dinan House.

Booking

Deposit of 25% of total rental required at time of booking. Balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival require full rental to be paid.

A cautionary cash deposit against damage of 100€ is required, payable with balance of rental. This will be accounted for and appropriately refunded within 2 weeks from the end of the rental period.

Accepted Payment Methods

Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Bank Transfer, PayPal.

Conditions

Cancellations more than 14 days before arrival will be charged 50% of the total Reservation cost, but will be charged 100% of the total Reservation cost if they cancel within 14 days of arrival.

 

If the guest doesn't show up, they will be charged 100% of the total Reservation cost.

Guests & Pets

The maximum number to reside in the premises must not exceed four unless written permission has been given.

Pets are welcome but only permitted by prior arrangement. Please drop us a line before booking. Upon booking you will be given the option to bring a pet for small additional fee.

Smoking

The house is a no-smoking property.

Timings

​The premises will be available for occupation from 4pm of the first day of the rental period and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Car Parking

We use the secure Centre Historique underground car park. This is only a few minutes walk from the house through the Jardin Anglais and is essential for those arriving at Dinan House by car.

Liabilities

We cannot accept liability for any death, personal injury, sickness, accident or loss on the premises unless proved to be caused by negligence on the part of the owners.

We accept no responsibility and no compensation will be made for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the premises or for loss, damage, injury or delay occasioned by strikes, industrial disputes, fire, flood, technical/weather conditions to transport, aircraft grounding, closure of airports or ports, weather conditions or any event beyond our control or for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the client if the premises shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such event all sums previously paid by the client in respect of the rental period will be refunded within seven days of notification to the client.

​Under no circumstances shall our liability to the client exceed the amount paid for the rental period.

Cleaning

The premises will be clean on your arrival. We ask that you leave the premises clean, the beds stripped of cover, sheets and pillowcases, and with the furniture in its original position. In the event that excessive cleaning is required to return the premises to a reasonable condition after your stay these extra cleaning charges will be deducted from the cautionary deposit and details of the cleaning carried out forwarded to you.

Insurance

The client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability etc since these are not covered by the owner’s insurance.
